Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia – Network & IT Infrastructure Modernization

We successfully delivered a comprehensive modernization of the IT and network infrastructure for the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, transforming legacy systems into a secure, scalable, and efficiently managed environment.

Project Scope & Services Delivered

  • Full building cabling infrastructure upgrade — redesign and deployment of structured cabling across all floors, replacing outdated network lines with a standards-compliant system (fiber and copper).
  • Network infrastructure modernization — complete replacement of legacy switching environment with a new, high-performance network architecture deployed across all floors.
  • Rack infrastructure deployment — installation of standardized network and server racks to ensure proper organization, airflow, and scalability.
  • Wireless network implementation — deployment of enterprise-grade WiFi infrastructure providing secure and reliable coverage throughout the facility.
  • Core network configuration & optimization — full configuration, tuning, and optimization of the network to ensure performance, stability, and efficient traffic handling.
  • Network segmentation & security — implementation of VLAN-based segmentation to isolate services and improve security, including dedicated guest WiFi networks.
  • Next-generation firewall deployment — installation and configuration of modern firewall systems to provide advanced threat protection and controlled access.
  • Active Directory deployment & integration — implementation of a centralized identity and access management system, integrating all users and devices into a unified domain environment.
  • Endpoint protection implementation — deployment of enterprise antivirus solutions to ensure secure operation of all endpoints.
  • Monitoring & ticketing systems — introduction of centralized monitoring and incident management systems to improve visibility, control, and response times.
  • Server room optimization — reorganization and cleanup of existing infrastructure, removal of obsolete equipment, and installation of new systems following best practices.
  • Power infrastructure upgrade (UPS systems) — deployment of new uninterruptible power supply systems to ensure stable and continuous power for critical IT equipment.
  • Physical security systems — installation of surveillance systems (CCTV) across all floors and external areas to ensure physical security.
  • Access control improvements — installation of secure access points and controlled entry systems for sensitive areas, including the server room.
